The
bassplayer Michel Poffet, born in 1956, is one of the most
multi-talented and active musicians on the Swiss music scene.
Since 1975, he has been playing and touring with renowned
innovators from all over the world, for example; Eddie Boyd,
Wild Bill Davison, Jay McShann, Bobby Dorham, Peanuts Hucko,
Sam Rivers, Babs Gonzales, Clifford Jordan, Vernel Fournier,
Billie Brooks, Charlie Byrd, Herb Ellis, Doc Chetham, Sal
Nistico, Joe Haider, Mike Henderson and Polo Hofer. He also
plays jazz, blues and rock with the following Swiss bands:
Jürg Ammann Trio with David Elias, Markus Plattner Quartet,
Blues Shouters, Jasata Uepsilon, Georg Steinmann, Blues Band
Jazz Community, Swiss Dixie Stompers, Mani Planzer Big Band,
